About Highline Hosting

Mountain hospitality, run by hand.

We’re Brian and Jilliane Flint — a small, detail-driven team of Airbnb Superhost Co-Hosts running a tight portfolio of vacation rentals across three of America’s strongest STR markets.

Meet Brian & Jilliane

We started Highline Hosting because we loved what hosting could be — and were frustrated by what most large property managers had turned it into. Cookie-cutter listings, overworked teams, average performance, and homeowners stuck wondering why their property earned less than the comp down the street.

So we built the opposite. A small team. A small portfolio. Hands-on operations on every property. Design choices we’d make in our own homes. Pricing decisions that look at the whole calendar, not just tonight. And owners who hear from us proactively — not when something goes wrong.

We’re verified Airbnb Superhosts (since 2025), and three of our homes carry the Guest Favorite badge — Airbnb’s top tier, awarded to the most-loved listings on the platform. We’ve hosted 148 stays and counting.

Where the Ethos Comes From

A career of showing up.

Twenty-eight years in the fire service. A retired Fire Captain. The mindset doesn’t switch off when the uniform comes off.

The fire service is built on a few non-negotiables: you show up, you own the outcome, you communicate the second something matters, and you stay calm when other people can’t. Twenty-eight years of running calls in conditions that don’t allow for excuses teaches you what professional accountability actually looks like — not as a slogan, but as a habit.

That’s the standard we hold ourselves to with every property we manage. Owners ask why we answer the phone. Why we respond to vendor issues the same day. Why our monthly reports actually arrive on the date promised. The answer is simple: it’s how we operate. It always has been.

Jilliane runs the same playbook on her side of the business — communication, attention to detail, a quiet refusal to let anything slip. We’ve been doing this together long enough that owners don’t see two operators. They see one team.

Where We Operate

Three markets, chosen carefully. Each has the demand drivers, regulatory clarity, and amenity mix to support real returns for owners.

Mammoth Lakes

CALIFORNIA

Year-round mountain demand. Ski + summer hiking and biking. #1 in the Mammoth Co-Host Network.

Park City

UTAH

Premium ski destination with Deer Valley + PCMR. Peak ADRs $400–$2,000+ a night.

Blue Ridge

GEORGIA

Cabin country, 90 minutes from Atlanta. Strong Southeast drive-market and fall foliage demand.

What We Believe

Our approach in three pillars. None of it is complicated. All of it is rare in the property-management world.

Less is More

We deliberately keep our portfolio small. Each home gets the attention of a team that knows it personally — not a number in a queue at a 500-property mega-manager.

Design Drives Revenue

The fastest way to lift ADR and occupancy isn’t a pricing trick — it’s a beautiful listing photographed properly, staged thoughtfully, and positioned for the right guest.

Owners Are Partners

Monthly performance reports. Honest answers when something underperforms. Direct deposits. No surprise fees. We win when you win — that’s how this should work.
